What does code P0380 mean?

P0380 relates to the diesel preheating system. It is more noticeable in cold weather, short-distance use and vans that start early in the morning. Although the engine may run normally once warm, failed glow plugs or a faulty module can cause poor starting, smoke and extra battery stress.
