What does code P0101 mean?

Code P0101 appears when the mass air flow sensor sends a signal that does not match the rest of the engine data. A dirty or faulty MAF can cause incorrect fuel mixture adjustments, leading to power loss, higher consumption and possible lean mixture codes such as P0171 or P0174.
